Congrats to Palacios! Always great to see a rook get their first hit, especially guys who aren't that highly regarded. I'll be interested to see if they add him to the 40 man roster after the COVID guys are clear, or if they try to sneak him through waivers. I think he's can have very similar production to Gordon, with a little less speed but more power and the ability to play SS.

As a covid replacement, he didn’t have to be placed on the 40 man to appear in MLB, and doesn't need to be waived or burn an option to return to the minors.

I believe you have to still be sent through waivers to go back down. Didn't that happen with Cotton? Maybe I am wrong.

"the team can "add substitute players to its major league active list temporarily." Players added who are then sent back to the minors will not be considered to be an optional or outright assignment."

Who would have thought that Carson Wentz would shut us down. I thought this would be a 12-10 game.

I wonder how much wagu a burger has to contain to be a "wagu burger"?  Would one pound wagu and 999 pounds regular beef do it?  Does the FDA Have rules about this?  Does my medication need adjusting?

There should be laws for this, like bourbon.
