Nashvilletwin Verified Member
I know I’m going to have to get over it, but Sanchez has no place on this team. Garver, Rortvedt, and JD for two guys that really struggled last year and the Yankees couldn’t wait to jettison (the Yankees wouldn’t let Urshela start at SS or 3B and Sanchez likely would have been released). We gave up three legit major leaguers, albeit with some issues, and valuable catching depth for that? And everyday that passes, it seems like the probability that Urshela is our starting SS goes up. Sheesh. LastOnePicked and RpR

Nashvilletwin Verified Member
At least Sanchez can make contact, even if it is on a hanging off speed pitch.

chpettit19 Community Leader
Pretty good example of defense mattering in that inning. Kepler in right catches that liner Garlic couldn't get to and it's 2 outs no on as he doubles off the runner who was running on the play. Instead they score 2. Give me my Martin-Buxton-Lewis OF for 2023! The Mad King and wavedog

Give me my Martin-Buxton-Lewis OF for 2023! Also a TERRIBLE throw from Caleb Hamilton and then a bad throw from Martin to home. Kinda like watching high school baseball. chpettit19
