Hopefully he'll be more than a great spring training hitter, which is all Hughes has proven to be....

Cool. Because there's a strong track record of all these Australian, German (Kepler), and Dutch prospects (Loek van Mil, not with team anymore) becoming huge contributors in the bigs

I wouldn't give up on Kepler quite yet. He's what, 19 years old? A bit too early to write him off.

Kepler just turned 19 in Feb. He was still in high school when they signed him three years ago. Give the kid some time, geeze.

are you implying that a prospect hasn't proven his worth by 19? If you're not hitting 30 HR in AAA before 20 you're worthless.

Since Max Kepler's name came up, check out this thread: http://www.twinsdaily.com/showthread...ghlight=kepler

I was impressed by him at Spring Training more than anybody else.
