Hopefully he'll be more than a great spring training hitter, which is all Hughes has proven to be....
This article has more information. He is 20 years old and will be coming over in June probably to join one of the rookie leagues
Cool. Because there's a strong track record of all these Australian, German (Kepler), and Dutch prospects (Loek van Mil, not with team anymore) becoming huge contributors in the bigs :)
Kepler just turned 19 in Feb. He was still in high school when they signed him three years ago. Give the kid some time, geeze.
Since Max Kepler's name came up, check out this thread: http://www.twinsdaily.com/showthread...ghlight=kepler
I was impressed by him at Spring Training more than anybody else.
