Red Wings 9, Norfolk 0
We all heard that Trevor Plouffe had a great game. He was 4-4 with a double and three home runs. Aaron Bates and Joe Benson each hit two-run homers.
Cole DeVries threw four one-hit innings. Anthony Slama threw a scoreless inning. Brendan Wise and Tyler Robertson each threw two scoreless innings.

Those are the right guys doing the right things. It seems as those DeVries is a bit too often ignored.

Rochester may be good this year. Hendriks, Bromberg, Stuifbergen, Diamond, DeVries; Guttierrez, Guerra, Burnett, Waldrop, Robertson, Slama, Manship.
And Benson, Tosoni, Dozier anchoring an improved lineup.

I know Armando Galarraga started the game (and gave up 2 of 3 Plouffe HRs), but I'm not sure who came in relief.

Can Plouffe wear a Red Wings jersey under his Twins jersey so he feels like he's in AAA? Is AAA that big of a jump? Or is it just a matter of time until he puts up these kind of numbers and games in the majors? Did Nishioka play?
