What can we reasonably expect from Kepler this year, if we want him to stay on the prospect path?

He's already knocking on the door of top-ten-prospect in a good minor league system, so I think he could honestly have a lost year in 2013 and still remain a prospect this time next year, though diminished in rank.

I would expect a .290/.350/.480 line from him at Cedar Rapids. And that would be damn good for a 20-year-old. He's fairly Mauer-like with increased power and some decreased plate discipline. I would DEFINITELY hope that if things go well he gets promoted for a month to Fort Myers. The future OF of Kepler-Buxton-Hicks is RIDICULOUS.

The midwest league tends to depress offensive stats a bit. I'd hope for above average defense and being in the top 10-20% of the leauge's offense. Those numbers would likely not be eye-popping, but out of a 20 year old, that would get him onto the bottom of many to 100 lists.
