Prospect Pulse
Baseball America just released it's newest installment of Prospect Pulse and it's much more encouraging than the last one.
Corner OFs (of 30): 7) Joe Benson and 14) Oswaldo Arcia (Arcia also listed as breakout prospect of the group.)
Center fielders (of 30): 17) Aaron Hicks
First Base (of 20): 8) Travis Harrison and 14) Chris Parmelee
Second Basemen (of 20): 6) Eddie Rosario
Third Base (of 30): 1) Miguel Sano
Shortstops (of 35): 13) Levi Michael, 26) Brian Dozier and 33) Niko Goodrum (Michael also listed as breakout prospect of the group.)
That's 10 of the 165. The average per team is 5.5. Pretty good showing, even though 7 guys are at least 3 promotions away.

There are a couple of players in the list who have not played a single game of pro ball... I am really excited to see Harrison this summer. I am venturing to guess that by this time next year he will be one of the top 5 Twins' prospects in a lot of lists.

I like what I see on the list. I also like their picks for potential breakout candidates. It is going to be a fun year to follow the minor leagues for the Twins.

I believe that Harrison is destined to end up at third base, and if Sano doesnt do well fielding grounders and third he may be moved for first.

Good to see the high rankings on these players, But i am a little surprised on Harrison who has yet to even play rookie ball.
Re Rosario, how difficult is 2nd base to learn? It would really work out well for him and the Twins if he could stick at 2nd.

Twins Minor League Report (6/17): It's a Miracle
It was a relatively slow day in the world of Twins Baseball with only two of the five ball clubs active. Though that didn't prevent us from hearing some pretty newsworthy things. Twins first...
