He gave up a homerun (I wonder what the pitch was). Otherwise he was still pretty superhuman.

Buxton is starting to hit at Elizabethton.

Interesting Chris Hermann led off playing catcher and had a home run and three rbi's.

should give Herrmann a spot on the 40 and give him a September call-up to see where he would be at. he's probably more favored than Rivera and Towles.. Not to sure how he's at catcher, but haven't heard anything negative. He'd be a way better bench option than Butera..

excited to see how Buxton will progress over the off-season and how he'll do at Low-A. then you've got other guys, Kepler could be really good. throw in Travis Harrison, Polanco, and some of the others. makes me keep coming back to these sites and reading milb.com box scores everyday..

It will be interesting to see if Buxton goes to Beloit to start next season. We know that Kepler and Walker will go to Beloit. Have to assume that Romy Jimenez will as well as he's put up terrific numbers. Candido Pimentel was just named the Appy League player of the year, although he spent time playing some 2B as well. Plus, it's possible that they have JD Williams return to Beloit for a 1/2 season more. Will be very interesting.
