    Minor League Playoff Question

A bunch of you guys are pretty well versed in the ways of the baseball farm... Heres my question?

Is there any kind of rule that prevents an organization from stacking another level?

For example if Rochester is clearly out of playoff contention and New Britain is clearly in playoff contention or vice versa. Can the Twins organization move a player down to New Britain for the expressed purpose of helping them on the playoffs... If it clearly upgrades the club. Can you do this... Could the Twins move Vazquez down and improve the Rock Cats starting pitching for the playoffs and or stretch run. Even if Vasquez should actually move up.

There is some rule that players can not be moved in a downward direction within something like the final 20 days or 20 games of the season. It's so that teams don't do just that. But, the opposite can happen. Josmil Pinto was just promoted to New Britain. Don't be surprised if Kyle Gibson makes another Miracle start and then goes and pitches for New Britain.
