    Anybody that has a legit future in the bigs should be striking out at least 1 batter/inning in the minors. The pitching situation continues to be dire.

    too bad your limits of 40 and 80 take out pitchers that were either injured or up and down. slama is almost totally shut out of the comparisons.

    The situation is beyond terrible. The Twins are going to have to rely on the free agent and trade markets for several years at least. And starting pitching doesn't come cheap.

    That is true. Slama has like 28 innings, so he likely won't even get to 40 by the end of the year. There are a BUNCH of guys with less than 30 innings with some very good K numbers, including guys who were just drafted.
