Are guys with mustaches supposed to be able to steal that many bases? Without doing any advanced research, it seems like mustaches and stolen bases would be inversely proportional.

I had been anxious to see how Hernandez would throw for Rochester. Hey, nice K total for the Beloit pitchers with 12. Good to see Sano with another. Great to see that Slama is back in action also. Thanks for the report.

Hernanadez has been off for awhile, correct? I know he and his wife had a new baby and the report said this was his first start with Rochester. Perhaps we can chalk it up to rustiness.

Yes, Hernandez has not pitched since a bit before the trade. Rustiness is certainly possible, as is that it is just one start and not one to worry much about. He's left-handed, and throws in the low-90s... I'll take my chances on that description any time!

Zach Jones has pitched 13 scoreless innings between Etown and Beloit. He has given up just 4 hits, walked 5, and struck out 22.

Roberts looks kind of like Luigi (profile wise) in the green and white uniform.

Somewhere I wrote that my only regret from my four days in Beloit was not getting to see Zach Jones pitch. I was introduced to him, and he seems like a terrific, pretty down-to-earth kid. But he was all the talk around Beloit. A few people told me that, in general, their radar gun is a mph slow, and he consistently hits 98 on it. Has hit 100 mph a time or two. Very intriguing.
