Thread: Status of Solimon and Salcedo?

Anybody have some info on the progress of rehab for these two?

3 months until the eventual Tommy John surgery....

Solimon had shoulder surgery about a month ago (I'd have to check out his Adopt-a-Prospect forum to find that exact date), but he'll be out for the year. I think labrum, but again, check out his other page.

With Salcedo, he first missed time due to some elbow pain... he rehabbed and came back, and after a couple of outings, he was back on the DL... this time with shoulder pain. It's possible the shoulder was in response to his work on the elbow... not sure yet. Not sure if there is a timetable with him.

I disagree. They won't need TJ surgery at this point.

When they're in AAA and knocking on the door for the Twins and starting to figure into our immediate future plans, THEN they'll wind up needing TJ surgery.
