Another great report, and I always love those links to the box scores. Thanks for doing this.

This is high-priority reading for me every day. You are doing a great job with it and it is much appreciated. From another Twins fan living too far away, which reminds me that my sister called me to rub it in that she was at Target Field last night. My sister who, Odin bless her, couldn't tell you the difference between a Texas leaguer and a can of corn (20-30 feet)--Ouch!

Looking forward to Rosario going back to Beloit soon. Guy can hit.

Benson has maintained his hot hitting, do most think he'll stick at AA this year, or move up to AAA (or maybe the Twins)? I think they'll leave him in AA for the year, but that's a total guess. That's a real nice outfield in AA, all three guys will see time in the majors, and I think at least two will be regular starters.

I think the Twins will keep Benson at AA because New Britain is in the playoff hunt. Any of the three could be recalled after the Rock Cats season is over. I'd actually like to see Benson promoted to Rochester, but I think he stays in New Britain.

Ryan mentioned on his weekly radio show last week that he'd like to see both Benson and Tosoni back in AAA this year (while discussing the outfield at NB). They have to earn it, however.

RE: The New Britain outfield situation -- there are too many outfielders now to get at-bats. I'd be surprised if Benson or Tosoni wasn't moved up. Arcia and Hicks need to be playing every day, and even Herrmann has been seeing time in LF, which I think is a good thing for his development.

Thanks also for the comments, guys. Nice to know that people enjoy reading this stuff.

Do believe Twins want Benson/Tosoni back in ROC, but only Benson has played well enough to get the promotion.
Problem is, the organization will not release a guy to open up a spot for someon.....they've never operated this way. With Carson, Thomas & Ramirez there (none to be with team next year), none are playing bad enought to be released, so MN is probably hopin one of em gets hurt to open up a spot.

Tyler Jones is one of my favorite pitching prospects right now. 11 k's in a game is a pretty good performance for anybody. Read that he's just a fastball slider guy who may end up as a reliever but is a sleeper type who could be more. i'd like to see some other guys promoted before him ,but he could use some more challenge.
