Another great job by the talented Mr. Afar.

A successful day like this in the farm system lends hope after a terrible debacle in Chicago.

I also think the reporting on this story was very good. I have one quibble--if that is even the right word. I would have had co-pitchers of the day: Hauser but also Wheeler (he won his 12th game--tops in the organization, right?).

Also, it seems to me that Danny Rams is starting to inch his batting average up. When I checked in on the game last night, he was up to .232--not a great average but much, much better than it had been not that long ago. It would be great if he could finish the season above .250 and start next season at AA because the fellow does have power potential.

Agreed -- I got lazy looking for pictures, so I only went with 1 pitcher. But Wheeler had a good start, and has had a very solid season.

Good call on Danny Rams... since he was put on the "DL", he has come back and been much improved. It's good to see because he's a really terrific kid who works hard, and still has a ton of potential.
