    Levi Michael is creepin'

As in creepin' up statistically. Finally. I hope that he gets it going enough the rest of the year so that starting 2013 in New Britain makes sense for him.

He's been better since the All Star break. Maybe he just had a chance to clear his head for a couple of days. He just missed a game and a half for not running out a pop-up, but he came back last night with a triple. He's definitely not someone to give up on.

    He had a solid enough June - .288/.357/.370. He's only 21 in A+, that's pretty good.

Wait, you're saying we shouldn't give up on a first round pick a couple of months into his first full season?

I was kind of hoping that he could OPS closer to .800 than .700, but this is respectable for a SS in a pitcher's league... probably starting to figure out teh whole wooden bat thing. At least at the moment there looks to be some decent help in the middle infield for the 2014/15 timeframe with Michael, Santana, Rosario, and Dozier...

starting pitching on the other hand....

I would add Goodrum to that mix as well.

This is great to see from Michael. I was a little surprised that they started him at Ft. Myers instead of Beloit. But he is making the adjustments so let's hope it continues.
