Sano surprisingly not in Futures Game
Not to say that Oswaldo Arcia doesn't deserve to be in the MLB Futures Game but it was a little surprising to not see Miguel Sano's name on the roster for the World team.
Arcia is a couple levels higher than Sano and the pitching staff for the US team looks tough so maybe the Twins were avoiding Sano being over his head on a national stage.
Most likely, Sano will be in the game next season so he will only have to wait another season to showcase his talents.
Any thoughts on Sano not being named to the MLB Future's Game?

The only younger player in the game is Cleveland's Francisco Lindor but he seems to be handling the strike zone pretty well. So are the other younger hitters like Profar and Machado, but Sano seems to have hit a speed bump with his recent K numbers and .237 average. Maybe the Twins aren't so much holding him back as much as he's just not deserving of the spot at this moment.

Sano has been so-so in Beloit this year. Good HR total, but has tailed off recently, and average has suffered.
Arcia has been hot since early May.

My guess is that the Twins didn't even nominate him for this year's game. They have some 'rules' for who they nominate, and it's possible that they didn't nominate him. Arcia is much more deserving.
