    SI article on Buxton

I think the Twins would find it very hard to pass on this guy. He fits the Twins mold so perfectly.

True. Right now, I think Mayo, Klaw, Callis, Goldstein and the SI guy have him ranked #1 but Sickels has questions about his hit tools.

The ESPN guy that is not law has him behind another hs outfielder. But you have to love him after that article.
    Win Twins.

In Baxley, GA, you've got Braxton Jeffers coaching Byron Buxton. My tongue is twisted.

Finally... An article out there that ranks Giolito higher than Appel

Great article--thanks for posting. This is a vital pick for Twins future and this kid sounds like he could be another Torii or Kirby but we already have Denard Span and Revere and Benson. I think Twins gotta go with a college pitcher who could be an ace in 2014--like Appel or Gausman. This kid wont be MLB ready till 2015. I know picking pitchers is risky--look at Prior, etc. but pitching is what Twins need.

I noticed the same thing! I got a pretty good chuckle out of it and then got to wondering if that's just a coincidence or if there's something about the South and the dialect that lends itself to that. Then I remembered I should probably get back to work.

You're right and I'm not trying to say that he's the consensus #1. Just that he fits the type of player the Twins target and he has huge upside.
