I know most people reading the blog will think higher of Pavano, Revere, Doumit, Casilla, Carroll, and Valencia in their fantasy drafts, but in a 12-team league with 24 rounds, standard 5 x 5 scoring...I have seen none of them drafted. Here is what I have seen:
Mauer 6-8 round, and then huge wait until the next Twins' player is taken and it all depends on team needs but Capps, Willingham, Baker and Morneau are all going 18-22 rounds. Liriano is more around the 20-24 rounds and Span is not even getting drafted.
I truly believe Morneau's career is over with. Sad, but true. So Parmelee may be a late round pick depending on how soon your draft is and how the next six weeks go for Morneau. Revere's average and batting order position, coupled with absolutely zero power make him a pass in most drafts when you can get a top of the order guy like Crisp or Bonafacio with same stolen bases and able to fill up a few more stat categories.
