I think that it is extremely encouraging to see Pugh in this list and especially with so few BBs
good list and I would probably have added Matt Hauser to the list, but I can't think of any of your picks that I would taken out, but Hauser had a good month of May also.
Good list. Someday Slama will get a chance, I believe it. Hopefully it is an extended look, not just an inning here and there.
I can't imagine any other team would leave him in the minors with the numbers he is putting up. Its almost criminal at this point. If the Twins don't give Slama a chance, somebody else will when he signs with another team this offseason. He'll move on and have major league success, and the Twins will have the excuses rolling out as to why Slama wasn't given a real opportunity.
Why did the Twins draft and or sign Slama in the first place if they have no desire to use him. That is something I can't figure out. You run him thru your system, and don't give him a chance. And now you claim he is too old.
Anthony Super Slama needs another big league opportunity. I don't know why the Twins keep refuting him.
He's too old to be a rookie, he walks people, and has the worst name this side of Balfour for a pitcher. Problem is, you can bring him up, but will Gardy use him...right.
