In recent threads across a range of topics, tangential issues are creeping in again. Examples are 1) the size of the team budget, 2) the past off-season's moves, 3) the quality of the front office. This amounts to thread-jacking, when it pervades the forum.

TD moderators will be taking a no-tolerance view of these and similar topics being injected into threads where the relevance is low. As the 2014 season approaches, we will foster a welcoming environment for fans new to the site. Again, we are taking a ZERO TOLERANCE stance toward thread-jacking, indeed all misbehavior, through end the of April.

Please refer to the Twins Daily Comment Policy at http://twinsdaily.co...-September-2013 if you are unclear on acceptable posting; when in doubt, stay away from the limits. The purpose of the policy is to encourage free discussion, but when someone's own pet topic drowns out others' discussion then the moderators will take steps as outlined in the above policy.

The vast majority of TD posters never run afoul of the policy - please try to be one of those posters.
