Does anyone have the 16 cuts today. Buxton was one... That's all they said.

Check the minor league forum ... it was written up there.

Don't blame Pelfrey for being upset. Gotta get that inside corner call.

Heading for the warmth?

Airport?

Going somewhere or just going to hang around O'Hare and soak up the atmosphere?

Heading to Fort Myers. And leaving from Midway. Rented a convertible. ooou yeah :)

Yeah. Looked like he had it. But I guess it's ST for the umps, too.

From Bollinger:

Buxton and Meyer, who are both not on the 40-man roster, were reassigned to Minor League camp along with right-handers Lester Oliveros and Yohan Pino; catchers Kyle Knudson, Matt Koch and Stuart Turner; outfielder Chris Rahl and infielder Miguel Sano, who is set to undergo Tommy John surgery on Wednesday in New York.

Seven players on the 40-man roster were also optioned, including right-hander Trevor May and left-handers Logan Darnell, Edgar Ibarra and Brooks Raley to Triple-A Rochester. First baseman Kennys Vargas was optioned to Double-A New Britain, while infielder Jorge Polanco and outfielder Max Kepler were optioned to Class A Advanced Fort Myers.

I thought Meyer could have stuck around longer.

Another good inning for Pelfrey. Could have had a K, then got two potential DP balls.

I thought the same about Meyer, RB but I think they may have just been clearing out some of the logjam. Somebody tweeted a few minutes ago that Perk and Burton are likely to get some work in minor league camp. Presumably because they still have so many pitchers who need to get work and Perk & Burton are locks.

On the really plus side, hardly notice Pelfrey working this season -- what a nice change from the molasses last season.

Pelfrey has been refreshingly sharp. That sink is sinking. If he keep that pitch throughout the year... People wiil complain less about him!!!

Bought a black Mustang Cobra convertible back in the mid-late 1990s. Was kind of my mid-life crisis car. I miss having it every spring.

So, have an old life crisis and buy another one? ;)

Or go with something like ... a Mini convertible ... such a fun car to drive.

I've always wanted a convertible... So I bought a 2013 Dodge Dart. I can't seem to get out of my own way!

I'm not mini enough to look anything but really stupid in a mini convertible :)

This guy who works for me is a big dude and he drives a Mini Cooper.

Watching him get in is a treat and I swear I hear the car say something snide when he opens the door.

I'm kind of reaching the point where I just don't want to climb in and out of a little car anymore, let alone driving a manual in Chicago traffic, which I don't have to do every day, thankfully. But 4 1/2 yrs on a car is not long enough yet to think about another one. I like having no payments and am hoping to like that for another 8-10 yrs.

Had my eye on a Mercedes CLK350 convertible. But rear wheel drive is just not practical around here in the winter and I really dont want to have to buy something else to drive in the winter. I had an old Blazer I drove winters when I owned the Mustang.

When I'm set up with the snowbird routine, I'll get something fun and snazzy.

Ooou ... nice to have such a tall 1st baseman!
