I'd wager its Arroyo or Salty and we're not gonna be happy about the years or dollars. I hope it's Garza and I don't really give a damn about the years or dollars (to an extent).

Haha right? Hopefully a admin will merge them all.

Tim said major so I'm interested who it is. I'm guessing Nolasco or Salty.

Would Navarro be a "major" signing?

I have followed mlbtraderumors for a long time and Tim doesn't just use major for any signing. Has to be someone better.

I hope it's not Nolasco. I'm not going to blast the front office if it is but I really wanted Garza or Jimenez... Hell, I'd prefer Yoon over Nolasco.

I'd like to see Garza, also. At least it's a start.

If it's Nolasco... I'm happy...

However... Someone is going to have to keep the sharp knives and spoons away from Shane Wahl. ;)

You might not want to tell him that he also requested Eric Fryer to be his personal catcher.

Well, after taking a second gander at his numbers last night, I'm happy with Nolasco.

Literally, the only two guys that would rank higher would have been Tanaka (maybe) and Garza. Jimenez and Santana cost the draft pick. Kazmir I'd put at about the same level but with less track record. This is a quality signing.

The Twins have already exceeded my modest early expectations.

I just took a deeper look at his stats as well. He's better than I thought, actually.

Nice signing, particularly if it's only for three years.

Without digging into it, why did he only pitch 80 some innings last season? Injury?

You're probably thinking of Josh Johnson. Nolasco pitched ~200 innings with two teams.
