Ball travelling. They've got Frankie's back.

What a gritty at-bat. He really battled there, doing the little things in order to win. What a gamer.

Don't know how Morneau lays off that last pitch. Good AB

I've watched the Pirates quite a bit -- mostly against the Cards, Cubs & Brewers but haven't paid much attention to the Reds.

Somehow J J Hoover seems like a great name for a reliever.

I was thinking more along the lines of vacuuming up the hitters but it could go the other way too :)

I wouldn't mind if Buxton turns out to be "merely" as good as McCutchen.

Came here to say, McCutchen has a sweet swing, but you scooped me on that, Jimmy Olsen.

I was thinking earlier how fast he was. And with power, too.

Pretty obvious why the MVP voe should go his way.

Do you really think McCutchen could beat out Presley?

If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.

Sounds good, but can our McCutch Jr. not have the Predlocks? It's aerodynamically unsound. Maybe Goin will spend some time with him in a wind tunnel and convince him.

Probably comes down to who slides harder into first...

Frankie did alright I guess.

He's not as good at letting opposing infielders, outfielders, and outfield fans make plays as you'd like, but if he could limit his home runs and strike out a bit more, the Twins might let him compete for CF in the spring...

Tough call.

Get back to me after I can review their meaningless spring training numbers.

Beats me but some of the writers (Morosi et al) seem to think so.
