2B Callaspo
LF Young
RF Reddick
C Norris
1B Barton

Twins: SP Scott Diamond

CF Presley

Things to Think About:

Will have to be provided by the Game Threaders... Remember to number them as you come up with them.

I got time for one

1. Think about 18 to 3... If the Twins pitching and defense would have shaved 15 runs off the A's output last night... It would have been a ball game. Today is a new day... Last night is in the rear view mirror.
A Skeleton walks into a bar and says... "Give me a beer... And a mop".

2. Think about Scott Diamond. Am hoping he can bring his AAA confidence up to the majors and turn it around.

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

This is EXACTLY why I love baseball. If I was a football fan and my team got manhandled (or perhaps I should say person-handled, in the interest of inclusivity) like that, I'd have to stew about it a whole week.

3. Think about how many times Bert will say 'major league level', Dick will say something encouraging a Bert response and there will be absolute silence, and if a part of broadcast team, how many times Coomer says 'to me guys...'

Heh ... this could be the start of a drinking game. But since I'm at work .... oh wait, how did that bottle of scotch make its way into my drawer ... hmm ...

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

3. I think about how sad my life must be that after 3 years of really bad baseball I keep coming back for more.
4. Think about Gardy usually getting tossed from games like last night, sitting in his office feet up drinking a beer instead of watching. He's a much smarter man!

May all our prospects be All Stars and the beer be free.

5. Think about something other than the Twins. No, seriously, it cant be good for our blood pressure to keep thinking about the Twins. Unless we're talking about a different kind of "twins"

Yes, but that's a pretty expensive beer.

You know, I am currently on 2 different medications for blood pressure. I just assumed it was because of genetic issues and my being slightly overweight. Maybe I was wrong.

I did have a parishioner in Illinois who was forbidden by his doctor to watch University of Illinois football games because he feared it would cause a stroke in this person - he was just too caught up in it, and was like 80-something.

Not to keep bringing up a horrible night, but what is the worst loss the Twins have ever sustained? That game has got to be up there.

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

Okay, well ... darn ... we scored too many runs last night or we could've had a record! (Just looking for positives, as Chief has said)

Lady? heh ... I'm no lady ... I'm Bark's mom!

edit: No offense to Bark's real mom. I'm sure she's a fine lady. Seriously.

Just laying off anything would be a good plan for Waldo right now.

I finally get time to turn on the game, and bam! Lowrie singles in Coco Crisp.

You can come up with statistics to prove anything. Forty percent of all people know that.
