The Twins have been waiting all season to get this important piece off the DL, will it be enough? The Twins will certainly go on a huge tear the rest of the way, but can they overcome the 17.5 game deficit for the last wild card spot? Probably. The real question is, will they catch Detroit?

I actually feel bad for the guy. IMO, he deserved a chance at the starting job out of the gate and he certainly would have had his best opportunity to prove himself (or not) a full time big league player had he not gotten injured. Next season he may have another shot as well, but I think it's less likely.

Well, with Ramirez on the DL and Hicks doomed to be Dozier 2013 (along with Parmelee, I suppose), Mastro will get to share the outfield with Thomas, Willingham, Herrmann, and maybe Doumit. He should get at bats, be dropped into the #2 spot in the order, and better make the most if he wishes a 40-man spot and major league contract with the Twins next season. A golden moment! If he gets on base, he might become the Twins base stealing leader this year!

Are you talking about 2015 or 2016?

And when he does, guess who won't be there?

That's right, the Yankees.

Smooth sailing right through to the WS. Hopefully we get Atlanta again.

Saint Looie was a piece of cake too. The Dodgers are who have the track record to worry about.

Thankfully, the Dodgers wasted all that money and won't be in the postseason.
