I did a rundown of the rankings just put out by Keith Law, John Sickels and "Baseball America."

ESPN's Keith Law has already proclaimed the Twins as having the best minor league system in professional baseball, and they have received a lot of kudos from others that rank prospects. This is an impressive jump for the Twins, who were ranked pretty low just a couple years ago because they had very little talent in the high minors and had been drafting in the bottom third of each round of the draft for most of the previous decade.

You can read the rest of Minnesota Twins' Prospects Rank High in Midseason Rankings at Yahoo! Sports.

Do you agree with the rankings? Is it too early for Buxton to be the consensus top prospect?
I have been an avid fans of the Twins since Kirby Puckett's breakout year of 1986 and have had numerous articles about the Twins published on Yahoo! Sports.

Why the "quotes" around Baseball America?
Papers...business papers.
