Also, from JJ Cooper (BA) who is at the game Tweeted this:

I have now seen Buxton bat three times. He's 0-for-0 with three walks. Doesn't swing at balls out of the zone. #pleasethrowhimastrike

They did finally throw Buxton a strike. He laced it to the base of the wall in LCF for a double.

Covering the Cedar Rapids Kernels for MetroSportsReport.com while my alter-ego, Jim Crikket, opines about the Twins and Kernels at Knuckleballsblog.com.

I was in Cedar Rapids Saturday and Sunday. The best pitcher to toe the rubber was Gruver. He was around the plate and mixed his pitches well. Kane County hit a couple of balls hard, but basically he kept them off balance for all four innings.

Buxton was 4-7 on the weekend with three walks. He certainly is smooth, but I would have liked to see him "open it up" chasing a fly ball or going for a triple, but he didn't get a chance. Before his double, he didn't really hit the ball hard.
