Over at Yahoo! Sports, I published an article that looked at how much bad luck the Twins had in Thursday's game.

If you eliminate any foulouts and strikeouts, then from after the second out of the bottom of the fifth inning until the Tigers took the lead in the eighth, their batters went 10-for-11 on balls they put in play. That is insanely good luck.

Read the whole story on how Bad Luck Follows Minnesota Twins to Detroit.

I'm really interested in what the Twins Daily community things about my analysis and maybe we can come up with some ways for the Twins to change their luck around.

The Twins and Twins fans love to play the "we cant catch a break" game. You make your own breaks. End of story.

Twins pitchers are awful, it's not luck.

I don't know, it is a site to discuss sports, not airline safety.....maybe we should take it less seriously?

Sometimes, this happens. It's one of the aspects of baseball that makes it unique.

Detroit is a good team and the bullpen had an off night. It happens.
And before anyone says the bullpen is terrible, Burton has been great all year. Nobody's perfect.
I bent my wookie...

147-221 over the last two plus years. A lot of bad luck!

If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.

I heard the whole team walked by a black cat, broke mirrors in the locker room, and walked under some ladders.
