Watching his rapid demise is one of the saddest things I've seen in baseball.

He is clearly injured. He needs to stop playing, take care of what ails him and come back.

I'm not sure on that. You haven't heard that from a lot of scouts. Most say he's simply not got the same stuff any more due to slow deterioration of his arm by age and innings, but he's not making any adjustments in his pitching to counter it. Some days he'll put up a very solid game because of that, but his stuff is more the issue than an injury, I would say...at least from watching 3 of his starts this season.

I would say that he's as good as Kevin Slowey currently. :th_alc:

Yeah, remember when it was a great duel with Josh Johnson and Roy Halladay in Phillie/Marlin games? Now Kevin Slowey looks like Cy Slowey while Halladay looks like a scrub who just came into a rotation spot the last week of spring training.
