Maybe the Twins need to try calling up a prospect who's never played in AA or AAA and just see if he can let it rip? Baddoo looks like a veteran at the plate!

Morneau thought Simmons might have let up while running the bases... if so, poor effort, if no, he's slower than I thought.

Andrelton Simmons...not fast
He thought it was a standup double and jogged around first. He thought the ball would go to the corner. It hit the stands and went directly to the left fielder. Then when Simmons looked up as he rounded first, he realized, too late, that he should have been hustling.

It seems interesting to me that there have already been a couple of instances this year of Twins players not hustling on the basepaths.Maybe Rocco needs to find better balance in his relationships with players.
