Battle ur tail off postyed "You want to scapegoat someone on this team it comes down to 2 players and we all know who they are. Supposed to be the core of this team, yet neither have been more than complimentary players, hurt all the time, or go into prolonged slumps. If those 2 can't get it together over a full season or in the playoffs, this team will just flat out not be what it can be."
And we all know who those 2 players are. Both have physical talent but are very unreliable and injury prone. I think its time that the Twins' brass starts making plans minus both. As far as Polanco is concerned, i agree that no fingers need be pointed at him. He is an adequate to good major league ss and that is all that should be expected. Bigger question is what the h happened to the number 1 pick in the entire MLB draft who also plays that position? I think Arreaz (sp?) is more of a concern than Polanco.
