I’ll say it again. Welcome back, Byron. Welcome back, Big Mike.
And we’ll see you tomorrow night, Josh.

TWINS WIN!!!!!!
Haven't been able to say that in a while, and it feels great to say it again. Pineda, was really, really good, and the "B" relievers were good too. Holding this lineup to a 2 spot is not a small feat. The lineup still wasn't great, but Buxton looked good on both sides of the ball. Getting Donaldson back tomorrow will be big. Loved the buttons Rocco pushed tonight.
Until tomorrow,
Go Twins!!!

Can't remember the last time a DFA pickup got a save situation a month into the season... and looked pretty good!

A lot as happened since the last win, eh?

Now that, sir, is a fine book cover!

I told you guys I’d will us a win! Buxton for the pick to click too. His catch put him over Cruz.

And while i'm lacking real book cover recommendations, False Colours by Richard Powell has one of my favorite dust jackets ever.

Sorry, i guess that would False Colors...
on the other hand, i'm pleased to find the blurb survives as a description of the book on the publisher's listing:

The Twins were 20-10 before the 6 game losing streak. They need to win 12 in a row to make up for it
I got no problems with that.
Edit: I will go further and state...
I, sampleSizeOfOne, approve of this plan of the Twins to win the next 12 games.
(Remind me... how far will they get in the post season with 12 straight wins?)
