Catch-up
The last time these two squared off the Tribe took 2 out of 3 in Minnesota but since then it's been the Twins who've been on the winning path and currently own a 2 game lead in the division. A three game weekend series will decide who will remain atop the division here in May.

Storylines
1. With the division lead down to two games, a big series from Cleveland in front of their home crowd could net Tito's Indians 1st, but on the other side of the coin Rocco's Twins could put themselves up in a big way with a good series this weekend. A lot of moving parts should be a fun series to watch!
2. Clevinger has not come back to his elite 2019 form and currently leads the Indians staff in loses after one of them came in Target Field back in mid-April. An important game to try and bounceback for Clevinger as the Indians try to cut down the Twins today.
3. Kepler and Polanco getting days will Marwin Gonzalez back in the lineup who hasn't seen playing time in a good while and also for the Twins the ever productive Ehire Adrianza gets game one as well off the bench.
