Isn't that about the number of players that would be cut by dropping 42 teams (42*25=1,050).Was going to happen this coming off-season.Guess corona virus has moved that up several months.Unfortunately for those cut, they don't have one more season to earn the right to continue.

Wish there was a way for the minor league guys to at least play in-house games in Ft. Myers, a 30-50 season of intrasquad games. You could easily do 120 players, playing multiple games during the day, as long as they are being paid. Especially if coaches are present for skills. How many bodies can the Twins house in their spring training complex for room/board?
