For those of you who don't know, I have been acting like the Twins have been,"playing," everyday and doing the color commentary over the games and it has been received very well so far. Below is the Game-Thread for todays game and all other broadcasts can be found at my twitch channel as well as highlights (see below).

Storylines
1. The Indians look to continue their red hot start and go for their 10th win in a row.
2. With a 6-1 record on the road and 1-3 record at home, the Twins lean on Jake Odorizzi to try and even the series and bring life back to Target Field.
3. Carlos Santana making an early bid for AL Player of the month in April while the Twins hope for the bats of Nelson Cruz (14 K's in 44 AB's), and Miguel Sano (.121 BA, 1HR, 3RBI), to awaken after a slow start.

The Twins needed a big start from Jake Odorizzi and he delivered!

 

Seven shutout innings coupled with some great hitting and the Twins take game two of the series 7-0!

 

The final game of the pivotal battle for the Central will be tomorrow at 7:10pmCT as Homer Bailey, (0-0. 11.0 IP, 1.64 ERA), takes the mound versus "Cookie," Carlos Carrasco (2-0, 15.2 IP, 1.72 ERA.)

 

Jorge Polanco 3-5: 2B,3B, 2 RBI

Miguel Sano 2-4: 2-Run Bomba

Jake Odorizzi: 7.0 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 6 K's (One K away from career #1000)
