Is it too early to call the off season a success. This is a huge upgrade.

Can he pitch?

Big time upgrade. He brings swag. Let's hope he stays healthy.

Donaldson improves the team, but they badly need pitching.

Rosenthal and a few others are reporting the deal is 4/92 with a fifth year team option. The max value is 5/100.

The Twins will be fun to watch. Every hitter in their lineup will challenge opposing hitters.

We may still want pitching but this was clearly the best option available.

Yes!

He'll be 38 years old then. That's probably not an unreasonable number.

I suspect it’s something like 4/86 with a $6m buyout or a $14m option. Guaranteed to get $92m

I guess $8 million makes sense in what would be his age 38 (this is correct, yes?) season.

Salary aside, this is easily the biggest FA signing this club has ever made. Kudos for deciding to play with the big boys, no matter how it turns out.
