For a team that needs to score 6+ runs to win this hurts a lot...

Is Astudillo healthy?Either way, Garver/Sano become the every day DH's until he returns.

Definitely shortens the bench and limits what Rocco can do with his lineup.

No bueno.

Pretty much nothing is going right for this team at the most crucial point of the season

I don’t think any one guy will dh more than once a week while Cruz is out. The only guys that likely won’t at all are Kepler and Castro.

Stashak has thrown 7 innings for us so far. I have no memory of any of them.

Honestly, why not bring Rooker up and give him a chance? Nearly a .400 OBP in AAA. Some pop. RH power.

Oh, he's on the IL. Forget it.

Garver out of the lineup AGAIN tonight (1st game without Cruz)

No clue what the thinking is here...

Garver has been on the bench for six of the past nine games and has started just 30 of 59 games since June 1

This is bad. Well, Cleveland won plenty of games with tons of injuries in their rotation, and now we need to step up with 2 of our better hitters hurt.

David Hernadez is out there now .... That seems like a Falvine type of target.

I'm gonna guess there's some medical issue with Garver. That makes the most sense to me.

Garver should definitely be playing instead of Marwin.

Gonzalez is terrible against RHP (sub .700 OPS) and has been ice cold for the better part of a month. Not only is Gonzalez playing he’s hitting FIFTH. Ahead of Arraez and Castro who are both in the .900 range vs RHP and even Cron at .713 is hitting RHP better than Marwin. Garver is well over .800 as well.

For guys that are supposedly analytically driven, this looks like a dartboard lineup.

I am losing faith in this leadership. Garver should be out there nearly every day. And now? Certainly. Unless he's hurt, of course. But we've heard no such thing....
