Fantastic throw from LF by Marwin. Eddie Rosario better watch out - he could get the Wally Pipp treatment at the hands of someone older than himself!

So, in conclusion, what was your question again?

Not sure what I like more about Mengden, his mustache or his windup.

Oh who am I kidding? Of course it's his mustache.

There are plenty of other threads on this site for you to go down that road!

I’m here and I’m staying, and won’t be told what I can post

Moderator Note:

Hosken is correct, if you want to tally up season long complaints, that’s what the other threads are for. The game threads are for general discussion about the game at hand, or whatever irreverent topics come up. They are not for listing season long gripes. Sure, if Duffey gives up a two run bomb, there’s plenty to carp about, no one is saying criticism isn’t fair game. But the intended atmosphere is supposed to be akin to watching a game with buddies in the bleachers or in a bar. No one enjoys the guy who’s complaining before the game even starts.

How about neither one?

Two hits with runners in scoring position before the first out would be asking too much, huh?

Not liking the Rollie Fingers vibe?

My son sported one of those for several years.

Reviews were... mixed. :)

If the Oakland pitcher is going to go full count on every batter we may be here 'til midnight.

Not especially, but it's much better than the hippie beards.

Well I'm sure you'll appreciate seeing all the clean-cut Yankees the next series.

I've disliked the Athletics since the 1970s. I moved to the Bay Area for graduate school at the time that Charlie Finley's A's were winning all their championships. I not only had to endure the misery of that awful stadium, but the Twins routinely lost to Reggie Jackson, Sal Bando, and company, sending the few hundred A's fans into delirium and driving me to baseball depression.

Nine-pitch plate appearance by Sano there. Ended in a K, but Mengden is already up over 30 pitches.
