Is that Yeo’s last HC gig in the big leagues? I’m guessing it’s over for him. Never liked him.

For a long time, yeah. Hockey coaches are full of retreads so I'm sure he'll find a spot on someone's staff as the power play coach or something like that.

I'm not sure how Ken Hitchcock continues to find employment either. The treads on his tires were worn down years ago.

Hitch at least has the credentials. Yep hasn’t done anything but drive two good teams into the ground.

Justin Kloos for Pontus Alberg. Nino for Victor Rask. These are ‘adjustments,’ indeed. So far, I don’t see the point.

This team always needs goal scorers. Been that way since Gaborik left. I really don't see the point of trading Nino for this center.

It doesn't matter what "tweaks" they make.
This is, and will continue to be a mediocre team until Leopold hires the best guy for the job, instead of his puppet.

Gotta blow this thing up.Mikko isn't the backbreaker on that or anything, just should happen anyway.

I agree, but I don't know where they would even begin to tear it down. They're just starting the 2nd half (!!!) of Suter and Parise's contracts. 6 more years with them as pretty much untradable assets.

The others they locked up aren't that young anymore and expensive... It's going to get really ugly soon for the Wild.

Parise and Suter are both playing well.If you have any chance of getting them off your payroll, now is the time to try.

I don't think it's possible, but try.

Last year the Wild lost 6 home games all season.... 6!

Currently the Wild have won 3 of their last 12 home games.

And Bruce Boudreau said on the radio he guarantees they'll make the playoffs... Not exactly on the same page here.

What a disappointment he's been.Anyone want to bet he breaks out ala Nino in Boston?

Granlund for Fiala.

Wild save 6M, get younger, and get a goal scorer. But they give up a streaky, but talented playmaker.

Not sure how I feel yet about it.

I sorta find myself thinking that this Fenton fella may be a genius. The Nino trade is still weird. BUT, the team got younger and cheaper just by giving up two (mostly) failed projects. If one of: a) Fiala and/or Donato become real valuable goal scorer(s), or B) he can turn this into money spent on a ‘star’ caliber FA; well, then I think he has low key had a real strong first season already.

Upon further review, Fiala is giving off major James Sheppard vibes so far. I think Donato will do well, but so far this year, it’s basically Coyle/Nino/Granny for cap space and Donato. Might still work out, I guess, but I’m less enthused than before.
