Is there a more "Twins," move than this?

Being, regretably, just a few years older than Belisle, I can attest to the fact that you get to a point where there are any number of afflictions--real, but not really debilitating--that one could choose from prior to being placed on the phantom DL.  Your mileage may vary.  Kick the can for ten more days...

It does seem pretty convenient. Maybe it explains how his awfulness has gone to the next level.

Sign an injury settlement, and move on. Teams and players do that......

Imagine Matt was your brother, or your son, father, cousin, etc.

Not his fault the Twins management likes him.

They'll DL him until 9/1 and then bring him back for some sweet September innings.

He either needs to go on the 60 day DL or be released. Either way he shouldn't pitch again for the Twins.

He's been pitching with a bad knee? Well that explains it!

I thought he maybe had a bad elbow on his throwing arm.

Geeze I could've swore he was throwing with his arm, not his leg!

Maybe I need glasses!

I'm glad the Twins could help get Lance Lynn in shape by using his Twins' time as his spring training so now Lance can help the Yankees win last night. (Not.)

Too bad the Twins don't have an open 40-man spot, but the Pirates beat them to it.

If it's a cartilage issue this should end his season no?

Now with none of the on field entanglements the Twins can put him to use in the way they appear to most covet: full time clubhouse leader.

I love it when rock song lyrics fit perfectly. "I Can't Quit You Baby" Led Zeppelin Debut Album (1969)

"I can't quit you baby... So I'm gonna put you down for awhile".:)
