Milwaukee is also a place to target for Escobar. And they have some prospects the Twins may want to take a look at.

How high was Swihart at one time on the various national top-100 lists? Top 20?

Quite the fall.

Very bad fall!

I remain hopeful on Buxton and Sano.....but I'd not bet the franchise on them.

The Red Sox have plenty of these types, with Ty Battrey, likely the most prominent. If they can get him for Rodney, he will be the Twins' closer for a while...

Maybe I need to scurry down I-95 to scout Pawtucket tomorrow afternoon...

I've split this out/merged threads because spycake is right. :)

Anyways, seems like a good place to keep all the trade rumors threads. We will (sadly) have lots of them over the next few weeks.

I really hope Dozier gets traded. At this point we need to assume he isn't coming back anyways

I spent a lot of time looking at him, and reading comments all over the web. No one likes him anymore.

How would a team with the record of the Red Sox have space for Swihart if he has no talent? Why not DFA him? He is certain to go through if you are correct.

While a catching tandem of Garver/Swihart wouldn’t be all that bad, I don’t see it as a long term solution. I believe the catcher we’re looking for will need to be found outside the organization.

While Realmuto would be awesome, I’d actually prefer Atlanta’s Single A catcher William Contreras, brother of Wilson Contreras.

I wouldn't give up on Ben Rortvedt at Fort Myers quite yet.

oh heck no, but with attrition being what it is, you need Ben Rortvedts in every level of your development org. Last I saw, he was about it in the pipeline.

No, thank you. I’ve seen enough of Bobby Wilson.

His best case ETA is sometime during the 2020 season, and that's if he continues to progress as he moves up. He's a great prospect, but we will need someone to bridge the gap and be there if he takes longer to develop.

Very bad fall!

A prospect that went from generally unranked, low 70 to 17. Maybe the unthinkable happened at the ranking services got it wrong and the player has always been who he is.

You mean the prospect who was the #26 overall pick in the 2011 draft?

If the rumors are correct. They almost did. The choice was Ramirez or Swihart.

Aye-aye, there.

BP help is champing at the bit down in Roch, and for some bloody reason, they either get tapped and sent down too quickly, or don't get tapped at all.And.... we have Belisle.

For the 26th pick overall he would be more of a success than a failure. Including the picks in the 9 years before him he has the second most bwar. No 26th pick after him has reached the majors. As a 26th pick he has not fallen
