The Cincinatti Reds

The Lineup seems pretty solid and ready to continue into the future. Base thief extroadianaire Billy Hamilton a year or two away.
The Bullpen is in good shape led by Chapman. Can they win it this year? Do they have enough Starting pitching? Will they continue to be a force in the N.L Central in 2013 and beyond?

They have a good pitching staff, lead by high upside starters Johnny Cueto, Mat Latos and have the best closer this year in Aroldis Chapman, with Marshall being the top set-up man. More importantly they have quality depth.
The Reds offense seems to always be fairly decent. Maybe their offensive numbers are inflated because of the ballpark they play in, but you could use the opposite argument about some of their pitchers who are putting up outstanding numbers. Votto is a cream of the crop offensive force, followed by Jay Bruce. Ryan Ludwick is having a big year. Brandon Phillips is well, Brandon Phillips, which is a good thing at 2B. Todd Frazier is having an outstanding season replacing the oft injured Scott Rolen and OBP challenged OF Drew Stubbs and SS Zack Cozart have had their moments... positive and negative.
If they won the World Series Championship, it would not be a shocker. To me at this moment in time, there really is no favorite to win the WSC. It's up for grabs among a handful of teams.

That said, Votto is among my favorite players in baseball, and if the Braves missed out on a WS in Chip's final year because Votto got one, I could live with that.
