Typical. Guy batting .146 gets a two out, two run single

32 pitches and still not out of it. Phil Hughes may get lots of work today.

Well, Fowler is a good player, he usually hits .264 on his career. I'm not sure why he's hitting so poorly in 2018....

2 strike outs...

Did he almost get out of the inning?

And we need to challenge the offense somehow...

Lynn is making this "Who will Santana replace?" decision very easy.

At this point, Lynn has been every bit as bad as Hughes.

Yup, never have been a fan of Molitor and he continues to give my non-fandom lots of support with these lineups.

Agreed.

Sixth in first base WAR.... He's not the best, but he's been good this year.

Lynn has a recent history of success over the last couple of years.

Can't say the same for Hughes.

If it’s going to be mop up guy duty, might go with the guy who costs more

Hughes barely throws 92 any more.

Lynn can still bring it at 95 or so.

I just don't understand how Lynn is this bad. He was a solid starting pitcher last year, but now he's totally lost his command, his pitches are far easier to hit, yet he's forcing more strikeouts? I don't get it. I don't buy the "missed Spring Training" excuses.
