I remain hopeful on Buxton and Sano.....but I'd not bet the franchise on them.

Colts plucked WR Rodney Adams off the practice squad.

Cousins or bust.

Yeah, load up the Brinks' truck and bring him to Minnesota. Doesn't hurt that he already said Minnesota is #1 with a bullet on his preference list.

I think the league figured Keenum out during the final stretch of the season. As a result, he was held back from throwing intermediate/deep passes, and went back to check-down passes. He's not going to be the one who will get this team over the hump.

Cousins with Teddy as the backup is my preference.

Cousins is the type of QB that older fans are used to seeing on the field for the Vikings. With the media reporting mutual interest, I think we can bank on this happening. Cousins is the best option.

Cousin's character and leadership are highly regarded, too.

Let the other three QBs go. They'll all find jobs.

I think this only happens if Teddy's contract tolls.I really think it should, but the CBA is painfully unclear on the issue.

Jimmy Garrappolo is now the richest player in football after signing a 5 year $137.5 MM contract with the 49ers.

Definitely makes me concerned what Cousins' price tag is going to end up being.

Yeah it's certainly turning out to be a huge win for San Francisco. I'm usually very weary about anyone New England wants to get rid of, much like Yankees prospects. Turns out Jimmy G is a stud! They should have kept him over Brady, as crazy as that sounds.

Rumors were that they were offered picks in the middle of the first round last year too.Ouch.

And 27M for Jimmy actually makes me even more excited about Cousins.Anything under 30 is easily doable.Plus, because in football this actually happens, I'm hoping the Vikings give him 45 or 50M for next year and spread the rest of the money out so they can lock in other guys long term.

The team could drop 50 on him next year and still have plenty of room to add a few players.

I didn't want an old retread so this works. 39 years old, and clearly worked wonders on Foles to make him look like an All-Pro.

Aggressive. He's never called plays, I don't think.

Let's hope he can convince Zimmer to play to win on offense. That would be a nice change.

49ers frontloaded Jimmy G's deal with 37.5M against the cap this year when they have 100M available.

I hope the Vikes consider the same thing with any QB they sign.(Hopefully Cousins)

Nothing against Cousins, but I'm kind of liking Keenum, though. Keenum has that gunslinger quality like Farve did, that even some of the great quarterbacks don't have.

I just worry that he was more a product of a smart coach then a changed man.His track record prior to this year was not strong.Hell, he barely beat out Taylor Heinecke for the 3rd QB role.

I struggle to want to invest in that.Plus I think Cousins is a significantly more talented QB.

However, if we do keep Keenum, I would really like us to take a QB in the second round. My personal favorite is Luke Falk.

Very possible. With the OC moving on, the spell might have worn off this season.

We'll have to see what the new OC wants - I kind of hope he's as aggressive in FA as he will be in his play calling.Smart but aggressive.

Give Cousins Diggs, Theilan and Cook and a D that will have him playing ahead or within 7 most times and he will be an MVP caliber QB next year.

Book it.
