These auto expand ads are annoying as hell

I've only come across them once week or so. I didn't think they were that frequent. How often are you seeing them, Dave?
Like 20-30% of the time. And they auto expand if your mouse even hits them. Usually I wouldn't bitch, but a video starts, sound starts and it slows everything up.
Again, if they are paying you a premium CPM for them, keep em up, but if they are throwing them into the same CPM they are paying you then ask them to turn them off. (I know for a fact they will be willing to do so, just don't tell them David told you to
Brett/Clay would send me an email pretty quickly I imagine.

Good to know. I'll contact the ad host and figure out a solution. For some reason, they don't pop up often for me. I hate them as well but if I only see one once or twice a week (amidst the 1,000 or so page views I probably give the site in that time), I'm not going to get too upset about it. Obviously that's not the case with you two.
Obviously it could depend on the browser, geo location etc. and for some reason they really, really slow up my computer when the dumb things start playing.
If you guys are going to run those, they should at least give you a decent CPM of at least $2-$3 to make it worth it.

Sorry I'm not trying to be a malcontent about it, and at the end of the day it's not going to keep me coming here. But if it is bugging me I guarantee its bugging other people.
If the 160 x 600 is a CPA or CPC ad then I guess its worth keeping, but if its a normal CPM banner ad, I don't think it justifys enough value to keep it scrolling. I'd almost prefer you just ran 2-3 160 x 600's in that space that don't scroll down the page.
