When Colon throws his first pitch tonight, he will be the 28th pitcher to appear for the Twins this season, including Chris Gimenez.  They used 29 all of last year, including Eduardo Escobar.  8 have appeared in 3 or fewer games.

3 innings and I'm all in. Signing Colon is the move that drives the Twins to the AL Central title.

Mejia looked like a Cy Young candidate the first time around last night too. He didn't make it through 6 innings.

FWIW, Colon this year for Atlanta was hit early and often.

Colon waited until third time through.

and sadly, that's an upgrade... which means 5 more starts at least.

Problem was third time through came in the 5th inning. Meaning he had plenty of baserunners the first two trips too. He just pitched out of it.

That went well. Or at least predictably

I don't know, it is a site to discuss sports, not airline safety.....maybe we should take it less seriously?

Gee, what will the Twins do now with the rotation? I guess the question is how many starts will Colon be given? They gave Tepesch one. Turley 3. I figure they give Colon 4 or 5.

He pitched better than I thought. I would give him at least one more.
