I had my 30th episode last night. Shea McGinnity was my guest. He is a huge twins fan who moved to Kansas City years ago. We talked baseball, the Twins, the Royals, how he came to love the sport and also a fantasy baseball game he loves (which looks super cool, if anyone is interested in trying it out let me know) called imagine sports. Please give the show a listen!

I had my 32nd episode last night. I was my own guest. It was really interesting/unusual doing a show all on my own, and I felt at times like I was rambling on a bit. Outside of that, I enjoyed doing the show and asking myself some of the questions that I have asked other people in previous podcast. I touched on how I grew to love the sport, why I enjoy still talking about baseball, what I see as the future of Baseball is Good, and lastly I ended the show going over some memories I had from TwinsFest this past weekend. Please give it a listen!

I had my 33rd episode last night. Nate Palmer was my guest. Nate is a youth pastor as well as a writer/contributor for Puckett's Pond. We talked about how he got into his line of work, what he likes about his job and what a "normal" day is like. We talked about how he got into writing about baseball and why he is a fan of both the sport and the Twins. I really enjoyed this conversation with Nate, and I hope you enjoy it as well. Have a great day!

I recently purchased the domain for baseballisgood.com. I'm going to try my hand at writing under the website with the same name as my podcast, and some of thing things I write I may share over here as well. Just wanted to pass it along. Have a great day!

I had my 34th episode last night. John Bonnes was my guest. We talked about his work with Twins Daily as well as Gleeman and the Geek. I also really enjoyed hearing how he described baseball finding him more than he falling in love with the sport on his own. He also re-hashed some fun games/stories from his college days at Carleton in Northfield, MN. Please give it a listen!

I had my 37th episode last night. Matthew Burke was my guest. He runs a twitter account called @TwinsColdTakes. He loves the Minnesota Twins, and said he started that specific twitter account because the negativity towards the team on social media was too much for him to handle at one point last season. We talked social media, his love of the game, and his amazing ability to handle the bunt when he was pitching. Please give it a listen!

I had my 39th episode last night. Travis Aune was my guest. Travis has his podcast Minnesota Sports Weekly that I used to be a part of, but it is a different show now that he runs it and it was fun to hear about the direction of the show and what he plans for the future. We also talked about the sports he played as a kid and the players he liked to emulate when hitting. This show is closer to 30 minutes than the typical 60 minutes. Please give it a listen, and I hope you have a great day!

Pete Gorton and Payton Woodson were my guests last night. They are part of the production/research/development team behind the documentary for John Donaldson, the greatest baseball player that you have never heard of. It was really fun to chat with them about the project, as well as what kind of player, and person, John Donaldson was. Please check out the website, and if you are able, please look into supporting their kickstarter. 39secondsfilm.com

We talked about his company, how he has brought statistical analysis and research to the forefront with the sport of curling over the past 18 years, and what the future holds for curling, and baseball, analytics. He also gave some tips for new curlers to how to better their game. Lastly, he is an ENORMOUS baseball and fantasy baseball fan, so we talked about how his love of baseball, and curling, started from a young age and helped bring around his love of statistics and knowledge.
