I had my 15th podcast last night. Nick Tuckner was my guest. He is the sports director at KDWA radio in Hastings, MN. (AM 1460/FM 97.7, as well as on tune-in radio.) I've known Nick since my high school days, so it was fun to catch up and re-hash our younger playing days, as well as get caught up on his radio job now calling Hastings, MN and Prescott, WI sports. Nick had a really fun story to tell at the end as well about the time he remembered falling in love with baseball. Stories like that are why I wanted to start the podcast in the first place. Please give it a listen!

For those of you that are interested; his Hastings Raiders are playing at my Park (Cottage Grove) Wolfpack tonight in football. Nick will be calling the game. I haven't been to a high school football game since, well, I was in high school. That said, I will probably keep an eye out for Nick's call. He is great!

I had my 16th podcast last night. I did the podcast on a Tuesday night, which has not been the norm for me (typically I do the show on Thursday nights) but this one made sense for my guests, Town Ball Tuesdays. It also felt more appropriate. Ryan and Marty are two guys who run a facebook and instagram page, as well as a wordpress blog detailing their travels every Tuesday throughout the summer months to different townball games in and around Minnesota. The photos they take on their site are really great, and it was fun hearing about their experiences over the last 3 years of travels in the people they meet and the fields they got to see. We also chatted how concessions stands across the state, there are some really great options for cheese curds at a few fields, but a surprising lack of sweet corn options (business opportunity?) Please give it a listen!

Had my 14th podcast last night. Seth Stohs was my guest. We talked his baseball playing days in high school and college, how he came to work for Marvin Windows as well as starting to write and blog about his different passions, and how he helped start Twins Daily. Amazing enough, we didn't talk Minnesota Twins baseball all that much, but we promised to save that for the next time we chat. Please give it a listen!

I mean... I'd encourage people to go back and listen to this one.

By the way, the Original Post has been updated to include links to all of the episodes so far.

Thanks Seth! I really need to create my own website, but I appreciate you letting me post it here for the time being.

I don't know, I think having me on the night that Jaime Garcia rumors became a thing to discuss Braves/Twins couldn't have been much better timing! LOL

I had my 17th episode last night. Jamie Cameron was my guest. Jamie and I have met through twitter as being fans of the Twins, and it was fun to catch up and chat on the show. We talked about his childhood growing up in London, how he came to appreciate and love baseball and Minnesota sports in general, and what he thinks the Twins should do this offseason. Please give it a listen!

I had my 18th episode just now today. Jon Tarr aka Bob Sacamento was my guest. He is a chiropractor out of Naples, Florida, and is a frequent contributor to twins daily with his videos on twins prospects, of which we talked at length. It was a really fun chat. Please give it a listen!

I did my 19th episode last night of Baseball is Good. Twinsdaily contributor Ted Schwerzler was my guest. We talked a LOT of Twins offseason potential additions, and a little bit about Ted's background in baseball prior to writing. Please give it a listen!

I had my 20th podcast last night. Myjah from Twinkietown was my guest. She was really awesome to talk with. We spoke some about the Twins, but a LOT about her love of baseball and what that entails. We also discussed her work with twinkietown and what she tries to accomplish with connecting to fans through social media and running that website. Please give it a listen.

I had my 21st episode last night. Nick Nelson (yes, that one!) was my guest. Nick is one of the owners/creators of Twins Daily, and it was really fun to chat with him. We talked about what got him into writing, why he loves the sport of baseball, and all the work it took to put the offseason handbook together (just want to say, everyone reading this specific post should absolutely purchase the handbook!) We also talked about a few articles he has written lately, and then dove into a few questions about specific players the offseason handbook has the Twins acquiring. Please give it a listen!

I had my 22nd episode last night. Ryan Meehan was my guest. I have known Ryan for years because of Minnesota amateur baseball. Ryan is currently the head coach of the Metro Knights, a team in the skyline league, a class A amateur league in the metro area. We talked baseball in MN mostly, and it was really great to catch up with him. Please give it a listen.

I had my 23rd episode last night. Zach Friesen was my guest. Zach is a huge Twins fan and has been from a young age. He also is a professional trombone player, which I had a blast asking him about (full disclosure, I did not know he was a professional trombone player prior to talking to him, and he was the first ever professional trombone player I have spoken to in person.) I found that fascinating. We talked about his dream to play the trombone at a Twins game (how can we help make that happen?) as well as some nostalgic baseball (creating rosters on hardball 3, anyone else?) I had a lot of fun with this show. Please give it a listen!

I had my 24th episode last night. Andy Ross was my guest. Andy is my cousin, and easily the person I played baseball, and Sports in general, the most as a child and a teenager. It was really fun to catch up with him and talk the good old days, including Baseball and creating teams on hardball 3. We also had some fun family and inside jokes directed at other friends and family we love. Please give it a listen.
