As the minor league season winds down among the Twins first 8 pitchers selected this summer the highest ERA is 3.38, pretty sure the Hunter Greene hype train would still be rolling strong had he put up a 3.38 ERA.For the record Greene didn't pitch this year but did hit .233 with zero homeruns.

Greene actually pitched twice. Wasn't pretty.

The Twins have played only four extra inning games this season, the least in baseball.

The Giants have played the most extra inning games, a whopping 19 thus far.

Too many home runs, he needs to slap it around a bit more.

Brian Dozier has 73 HR over the last two seasons. It is the most in a two year stretch by a Twin since Harmon Killebrew hit 90 in 1969-70.

Joe Mauer has nearly as many 3+ hit games this season (12) as he had in 2015 and 2016 combined (13).

He has as many four hit games this season (three) as he had in 2014, 2015, and 2016 combined.

Joe Mauer's next double will be his 400th in his career.

And Joe Mauer's 2017 batting average now matches his career average. (.308)

Every team in baseball has at least 60 wins. Nobody will finish with a record as poor as that of the 2016 Twins.

The Padres, at 69-84, are a really bad baseball team.

But then you look at their pythag and realize they're a terrible baseball team. Their expected record is 58-95.

It's impressive to be one of the worst teams in baseball and still manage to be +11 wins over your pythag record.

+11 wins!

Buxton has stolen 25 consecutive bases, which is halfway to the record of 50 set by Vince Coleman. Paul Molitor stole 36 in a row.

If Buxton keeps up his career rates (41 of 46), his rate of 89.1% would be the highest steal % (assuming minimal levels) in major league history.
