Both signings are snoozers. Can't imagine Vogelsong is more than just a spring training audition to land somewhere else. 

Tepesch looks like a capable AAA arm. And that's about it.

I'd rather see the youth in the pen, these guys don't miss bats.


No harm in giving them minor league deals though if the front office doesn't over-value experience at the expense of ability.

Did Terry leave a store credit at the toilet store that Pohlad is making Derek and Thad spend before they can make any real moves?


Every time I see a Twins nugget pop up I get momentarily excited before realizing that their latest move is even more embarrassing than the previous one.

Per Dustin Morse, Twins sign veteran catcher Chris Gimenez to a minor league deal.



.229/.308/.429 in 2016 and .263/.358/.402 career against LHPs and played for both Cleveland and Texas the past 3 seasons.Might be interesting to see whether he would push the 2 young Cs for the back up job.
